El Nativo Growers specializes in high quality plants from California, Australia and other Mediterranean climates that thrive in the Southern California environment.  Their species list consists of unusual, hard to find, and standard stock material. The majority of  these species are drought tolerant. They produce material from 4″ to 24″ box specimens and most sizes in between. They grow groundcovers, shrubs, trees, and perennials in addition to grass and grass-like species and provide contract-growing arrangements for variety of projects.

Epilobium canum ‘Catalina’

The Catalina form of California fuchsia is a fairly large upright flowering perennial with very showy fuchsia flowers.

Artemisia californica ‘Canyon Gray’

This prostrate sage grows 3′-6′ wide and 1′ high with finely cut green gray foliage.

Mimulus ‘Jelly Bean Yellow’

This Mimulus hybrid is characterized by its unusually large, yellow flowers that overpower every other feature of the plant.

Anigozanthos ‘Big Red’

‘Big Red’ is a perennial with dark green, smooth, sword-like evergreen leaves. It produces spikes of striking tubular, red flowers that look like claws.

Heuchera ‘Wendy’

‘Wendy’ prefers dry, shady conditions. Once established, they require virtually no care other than removal of the dead flowers after bloom.

Firecracker Penstemon

This perennial has bright green leaves form a rosette at the base of the plant. Scarlet spikes of flowers appear late winter to spring.
